Policy

What we hold, and why

Last updated 15 August 2026

1. Who this is

Ironside Appliance Repair, an independent appliance repair company operating from Jacksonville, FL, serving St. Johns County and the surrounding metro. Contact us on +1 (904) 659-6634 during business hours.

2. What this website collects

Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no login, no shopping cart and no comment system. The site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no session recording, no advertising pixel and no chat widget.

Every asset — fonts included — is served from this domain. The pages make no requests to any third party, so no third party learns that you visited.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses and request times, for security and abuse handling. We do not read them for marketing and we do not combine them with anything else.

3. What we collect when you call

To book and complete a repair we need, and keep:

  • Your name, service address and phone number.
  • The appliance model and serial number, and the fault.
  • What we did, which parts we fitted, and what you paid.

We keep that record because the warranty depends on it. If you call in eleven months about a part we fitted, the invoice is how we know it is covered.

4. Who else sees it

Parts suppliers see the model and serial number when we order a part, because that is how a part is ordered. Our payment processor sees what a card processor has to see; we do not store card numbers. Our accountant sees invoices. That is the whole list.

We do not sell customer data, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to lead generators or to any manufacturer. We are not on a manufacturer contract, so no factory system receives your job record.

5. How long we keep it

Job records are kept while the warranty runs and then for as long as tax and accounting rules require. After that they are destroyed. Phone numbers of people who called but never booked are not kept.

6. Your choices

Call us and ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete everything we are not legally required to keep. We will do it. Asking for deletion inside the warranty period ends the warranty in practice, because the record is the proof — we will say so before we act.

7. Marketing

We do not run a mailing list and we do not send marketing texts. If we contact you it is about a job, a part, or an appointment.

8. Trademarks on this site

Viking and any other brand names on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service. Our position on the manufacturer is stated in the notice at the foot of this page.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive; the version on this page is the one that applies.
